This is a fantastic ink painting exhibited at the St Kilda Alliance Francaise last year sometime. Unfortunately I can't read the artist's name but I wish to give him/her credit for inspiring the following ink painted cushion cover. If you can identify the author that would be great. Thanks. Although I have taken the idea from the painting above I decided to give the painting an Asian influence portraying more discipline and order as is the Asian culture. This cushion cover is worth $50 including postage with a zip closure and a navy blue serge fabric backing. Bordering the painting is lustrous silk fabric taken from a Japanese man's Kimono. As for this cushion cover I have rescued the silk insert from a Kimono. It has stains on the silk but it has been washed thoroughly before and after the ink painting of broken bamboo. I think the stains add authenticity. What do you think? It's for sale as well for $50 with a zip closure and a navy serge fabric backing. Please email me if you have any comments…………. This cross body bag is made from a Chinese embroidered dressing gown. Colours add to the scene of tranquility. This bag has a zip closure and an antique slide and strap adjustor. The stiffening has been reinforced with extra sewing to ensure lasting wear. It is fully lined. Priced at $30 including postage. Please email me if you are interested………...
