What a mess I hear you say! Well, it's so difficult to begin painting. It is for me! So why not start with a few random drops of this and that here and there. Then stand back and say "I'll think I'll add to that". The trick is to stop adding and say "enough". Another stand back and a lot of thinking, scratching the head and finally putting the lids to the pots of fabric dye. O what fun!! Anyway it's for sale on Etsy, see creatifbitsnpieces!

This bag will make it easier to carry your art canvasses and is big enough to carry three 50cm stretched canvasses and perhaps your brushes and paint tubes. It's always difficult to carry your art supplies even from your car to the gallery or to class. I've seen artists struggling in the wind with their unharnessed canvasses so this bag will help. This bag is large measuring 66cm x 63cm or 26 x 25 inches and is made from a coarse hard wearing polyester linen which was purchased as an offcut. The fabric has been decorated from dropped Japanese ink and screen printed with special screen printing dye. All added colour has been fixed. The bag has French seams to ensure strength and has been cornered to accommodate the canvasses easily. The top has been faced with black stiffened silk which makes it easier to insert your paintings. And it folds up to 16cm or 6.5 inches when not in use. See it at creatifbitsnpieces on Etsy. Well, I thought I needed a bag this big for carting around a canvas! Where did I get those canvasses I hear you ask? If you trawl around the large department stores long enough you may come across a clearance sale. So after a satisfactory purchase of 2 wall decor pieces at $2 each (mind you) I pondered a way a getting them home as I usually take public transport. The dept store had no big bags and besides that's a lot of plastic! So I thought I'd make a bag with the help of some second hand fabric offcuts. Being a little dotty I had to add the big black dot to go with it! Yes, you can then paint over the offending subject matter and use the renewed canvas for your very own painted creations. And the bag folds nicely into a quarter of the size when not in use.
