What to do with a piece of practice silk? Well you can't throw away a piece of beautiful, cream silk even though it has been recycled. I must admit silk is so soft to touch when it is quilted or puffed up with pieces of stuffing saved through washing worn out pillows. You see, what do you do with your worn out pillows? This soft clutch is a little irregular in shape thanks to adventurous quilting but it has been lined in a black synthetic linen and I've chose a toothy, brand new zip. You could use this purse for anything - it's got that shabby look about it. I really wanted to see what happened when I did this and did that. It's just one of those things where you'd like to break all the rules but create something useful at the same time. It's been a positive experiment.
